May 2004 - Chosen from Artists throughout the state by the Connecticut Arts Council to present a solo exhibit of eight paintings in the Chambers of the Senate Majority Leader at the State Capitol

October 2005 – Flanders Nature Center, Woodbury, CT, selected Tom to be the Featured Artist in the Four Seasons of Flanders Benefit Gala
